In the webinar, senior director of analytic strategy at TIBCO, Shawn Rogers, discussed how closed-loop SOI platforms offer a continuous learning solution, adding knock-on effects as the analytics mature.
Companies that adopt SOI platforms, which are digitally-driven and include analytics, see improvements in revenue, customer experience, operation efficiencies and product innovation.
Some big statistics were thrown out in the webinar, including Gartner predicting 75 percent of large and midsize organizations will compete using proprietary algorithms and insight driven businesses will steal $1.2 trillion from others by 2020, according to Forrester.
“Systems of insight is improving what we’re doing with analytics and taking people’s analytics practices to that next level,” said Rogers. “That’s what it’s all about, closing the loop, learning from the insight, optimizing the process, and getting more from the effort that you’re putting into the practice.”
