In this week’s real-time analytics news: SAP SE and its partners made multiple announcements at the SAP Sapphire conference.

SAP SE made many announcements at its SAP Sapphire conference. The announcements included innovations in a broad range of areas and multiple collaborations. Some SAP significant announcements from the conference include:

  • An update to the SAP Sustainability Footprint Management solution. SAP is also announcing the SAP Sustainability Data Exchange application, a new solution for enterprises to securely exchange standardized sustainability data with partners and suppliers so they can decarbonize supply chains faster. SAP’s green ledger initiative is planned to become part of the RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP solutions.
  • Advancements to SAP Business AI, including innovations that personalize customer engagement, make procurement more productive, and expand organizations’ abilities to find and develop critical talent across their entire workforce.
  • A collaboration with Microsoft to develop joint generative AI offerings. The companies will collaborate on integrating SAP SuccessFactors solutions with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot in Viva Learning, as well as Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service, to provide access to powerful language models that analyze and generate natural language.
  • A collaboration with Intel to deliver more powerful and sustainable SAP software landscapes in the cloud. The collaboration deepens Intel’s focus on delivering extremely powerful and secure instances for SAP, powered by 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors.

Other announcements included help in personalizing customer engagement with SAP digital assistant for customer experience; SAP Recommerce from SAP Commerce Cloud to help customers with business and improve sustainability, and industry accelerators for SAP CX to boost customer experiences.

Additional SAP-related announcements for the week include:

  • Avantra announced the launch of their new Cloud edition for RISE with SAP. This edition enables RISE customers to automate cloud, on-premises, and third-party operation activities as they migrate their business operations to the cloud.
  • CData Software announced that CData Sync is now available on the SAP Store. CData Sync integrates with SAP HANA, SAP Business One, SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Concur, and more, delivering data integration to commonly used data sources and databases.
  • Eviden unveiled ElevateNow, a solution developed in partnership with ServiceNow, designed to assist SAP customers move towards SAP S/4HANA. The new solution combines consultancy, implementation, migration services, and management from Eviden and ServiceNow.
  • TIE Kinetix announced that the company has successfully completed its integration with SAP S/4HANA certification based on an ICC integration Assessment for SAP S/4HANA. This certification confirms that TIE Kinetix’s FLOW Partner Automation solution meets technical compliance requirements for SAP S/4HANA with SAP certification processes. 
  • LTIMindtree, in collaboration with Tricentis, launched its latest suite of automated testing tools for SAP S/4HANA. Called ‘Rely,’ the LTIMindtree platform for SAP’s S/4HANA is a suite of assurance and compliance services designed to streamline the execution of S/4HANA programs. The platform provides a built-in framework for testing tools and methodologies, enabling enterprises to maximize their business optimization on S/4HANA.

Real-time analytics news in brief

FICO announced 19 major enhancements to its FICO Platform, its foundation for applied intelligence. New capabilities and improvements in this announcement cover areas including transactional analytics using real-time intelligence, data aggregation, and profiling; optimization delivering substantial performance improvements; simulation providing tools to experiment, test, and learn without the risk of impacting the customer experience; and more.

Airbyte announced the availability of its new no-code connector builder that makes it possible to easily and quickly create new connectors for data integrations. The builder enables non-engineers, such as data analysts, to create an extract, load, transform (ELT) connector within just five minutes – a process that traditionally could take more than a week.

Applied Digital Corporation announced the launch of its Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cloud services that will provide high-performance computing power for AI applications, including large language model training, graphics rendering, and more. The AI Cloud services will be offered through Sai Computing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Applied Digital.

Boomi announced Boomi AI, a simplified user experience that uses generative AI to connect and integrate applications, data, processes, people, and things across organizations. Boomi AI leverages anonymized metadata, patterns, and best practices from the 200 million integrations made with the Boomi platform to train the AI models to create high-quality integrations across various business processes and applications.

Cognizant announced a new, enterprise-wide platform, Cognizant Neuro AI, designed to provide enterprises with a comprehensive approach to accelerate the adoption of generative AI technology and harness its business value in a flexible, secure, scalable, and responsible way.

Crux announced the launch of the Crux External Data Platform (EDP), a SaaS offering that enables enterprises to automate the onboarding of any external dataset directly from vendors into their organization, driving better, faster decisions. The new self-service cloud platform allows data teams to onboard and transform external data for analytics use up to ten times faster than traditional manual methods.

Data.world announced the introduction of the data.world Data Catalog Platform with new Generative AI-powered capabilities for improving data discovery. With native Generative AI integrations, even more people can use data.world to discover data and unlock organizational knowledge – regardless of expertise level.

dataPARC announced the release of its next-generation data historian platform. The new solution boasts improved performance, enhanced security, and broadened manufacturing intelligence capabilities. The platform supports other vendor historians and enables seamless integration with third-party cloud AI, ML, and data warehousing applications.

Expert.ai announced the availability of the expert.ai Platform for Life Sciences. With the expert.ai Platform for Life Sciences, teams can seamlessly access advanced natural language understanding capabilities, learning methodologies, and 3rd-party large language models like BioBert and Bio-GPT, as well as customizable pre-built knowledge models to build custom solutions.

HPE introduced the next step in the HPE Ezmeral Software platform. HPE Ezmeral Software extends the edge-to-cloud data and analytics capabilities of HPE GreenLake and provides the data and analytics foundation for machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) projects. 

IBM unveiled IBM Hybrid Cloud Mesh, a SaaS offering that is designed to enable enterprises to bring management to their hybrid multi-cloud infrastructure. IBM Hybrid Cloud Mesh is engineered to automate the process, management, and observability of application connectivity in and between public and private clouds.

Lightbend announced the launch of Akka Distributed Cluster (Akka v.23.05), which brings new capabilities for accelerating data delivery to users; maintaining application availability even in the event of a cloud provider outage; cutting costs by minimizing data storage expenses and reducing server data traffic; and conserving developer time. These new features, combined with Akka, give enterprises the ability to build mission-critical cloud-native applications in less time than ever.

New Relic announced a new, deeply integrated experience for its infrastructure monitoring and APM capabilities that correlates the health and performance of applications and hosts in real time. Engineers, DevOps, and ITOps can now quickly diagnose application and infrastructure performance issues and avoid context switching or missing critical insights due to siloed infrastructure monitoring tools.

NTT DATA announced a new end-to-end employee talent experience platform that enables organizations to deliver targeted new skilling and reskilling programs at scale. TalentBASE provides a unified, personalized learning environment where employees can seamlessly access, consume, and interact with the latest training content, all in a single platform.

Precisely announced the launch of EngageOne RapidCX, which empowers organizations to provide a better, more effective customer experience through data-driven, personalized communications. To that end, the solution helps improve efficiency, enhances customer engagement, and enables better governance.

Qmulos announced the new versions and general availability of its two flagship products, Q-Compliance V4.2.0 and Q-Audit V3.4.0. The offerings streamline the configuration of organizations and systems with complex shared responsibility models, manage tasks, support external reporting of audit activities, and enable more granular investigation of events on the ISSO audit review dashboard.

SS&C Technologies Holdings has launched SS&C Blue Prism Process Intelligence 2.0, a next-generation AI-powered process and task-mining solution. Powered by ABBYY Timeline 6.0, the solution accelerates process discovery and identification time. Integration with SS&C Blue Prism Chorus business process management (BPM) enables continuous process optimization and rapid scalability.

Satori announced the availability of Posture Management, a new capability within Satori’s platform that monitors the authorization of users to data across all of a company’s data stores. In addition, Satori announced the availability of Data Store Discovery, which scans and monitors an organization’s cloud accounts to discover new data stores.

Savant Labs announced Savant Copilot to accelerate creating analytic outcomes. Analysts can now describe the analytic tasks in plain English, and Savant Copilot auto-generates the code and the underlying analytics leveraging Generative AI technologies.

ServiceNow announced several major innovations and initiatives to accelerate intelligent automation across the enterprise, including innovative generative AI capabilities built into the Now Platform, new workflows for the critical work of Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain leaders, an AI-powered skills intelligence solution to supercharge employee growth and development, as well as a new initiative to digitally transform non-profits’ critical work.  

SingleStore announced the launch of SingleStore Kai for MongoDB, a new API that turbocharges real-time analytics on JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) and vector-based similarity searches for MongoDB-based AI applications — without the need for any query changes or data transformations.

SnapLogic announced the launch of SnapLabs, a dedicated environment for the SnapLogic community to experience unreleased products and features. SnapLabs will enable users to gain early access to cutting-edge solutions and influence the company’s roadmap by providing valuable feedback on product offerings before they are publicly released.

TheMathCompany released Co.dx 3.0, the latest version of its proprietary platform. The pioneering feature of Co.dx 3.0 is the Enhanced Business Application and Workflow Configuration Capability, currently pending for patent, which promises to simplify the development of new applications in a fast and scalable way.

WekaIO (WEKA) unveiled version 4.2 of the WEKA® Data Platform today. The new release brings a variety of enhanced features and new capabilities to the platform. They include advanced data reduction and a new container storage interface (CSI) plug-in for stateful containerized workloads that can help customers dramatically lower their storage and operational costs. WEKA 4.2 also offers performance improvements in the cloud.

Partnerships, collaborations, and more

Cockroach Labs announced the launch of CockroachDB-as-a-service running on Microsoft Azure. With thislaunch, CockroachDB is now available on-demand across all three major cloud providers (with existing product availability on Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform).

KX announced a new collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to make kdb Insights available as a fully managed service on Amazon FinSpace. Managed kdb Insights enables investment banks and hedge funds to launch, configure, run, and scale the most important capital markets analytics and AI workloads, such as options pricing, transaction cost analysis, and back-testing, with just a few clicks.

Oracle announced that an expanded list of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services has attained FedRAMP approval, making more cloud services available to customers in the civilian, defense, and intelligence communities. To attain the approval, the services were thoroughly reviewed and approved by technical representatives from FedRAMP’s Joint Authorization Board (JAB) for use within OCI’s FedRAMP Authorized (High) offering.

Qlik announced it has closed its acquisition of Talend. The joined entity will combine Qlik’s expertise in data integration, analytics, AI, and machine learning combined with Talend’s data integration and data quality solutions.

Tabnine announced its availability on Google Cloud Marketplace. With Tabnine, Google Cloud customers can streamline their workflow, improve productivity, and make the software development process more efficient.

Teradata and FICO  announced they plan to bring to market integrated advanced analytic solutions for real-time payments fraud, insurance claims, and supply chain optimization. Bringing data, analytics, and insights together in one environment streamlines the development of solutions for use cases across industries.

Tredence announced that it has achieved Elite Partner status from Databricks. The recognition acknowledges Tredence’s Data & AI Industry expertise and success leveraging innovative Brickbuilder solutions like ATOM.AI on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. The partnership has delivered five industry-specific Brickbuilder Data and AI solutions.

Veza announced that the Veza Authorization Platform is now available on the Snowflake Data Cloud. With this integration, joint customers can now manage access permissions and secure their sensitive data at scale. By leveraging the Snowflake Data Cloud, Veza is joining Snowflake in mobilizing the world’s data to help organizations secure access to sensitive data and achieve continuous compliance.

Vultr and Domino Data Lab announced the integration of Domino Nexus with Vultr’s Kubernetes Engine. This new integration helps businesses achieve competitive advantage in the era of generative AI by accelerating innovation while balancing compute cost, performance, and availability with the seamless bursting of cutting-edge AI workloads to GPU-accelerated compute clusters across cloud and on-premises environments.

Weights & Biases and Lambda announced a strategic partnership to bring the infrastructure and MLOps tools required for AI and deep learning workloads to enterprises of all sizes. The Weights & Biases MLOps platform integrates with NVIDIA-accelerated systems provided by Lambda. The combination is leveraged by enterprises developing computer vision and natural language processing algorithms.

Windward Consulting Group announced its Service Reliability offering powered by ServiceNow. The collaboration will focus on helping businesses optimize their workflows and provide seamless end-to-end user experiences.
