DataRobot announced a number of enhancements to its AI Cloud Platform. New capabilities are designed to deliver business impact. They include:

  • Next-generation Solution Accelerators that help organizations activate data-driven solutions by applying AI to the highest impact use cases for their business and their industry.
  • Bias Mitigation capabilities to reduce business risk, delivering a higher level of bias prevention by automatically identifying and adapting models before they reach deployment to mitigate bias and assure fairness.
  • Integrated Code-First Notebooks providing data scientists access to all necessary tools and resources to do exploratory, code-centric work. DataRobot is announcing the preview of Code First Notebooks that are fully integrated in DataRobot AI Cloud and bring together capabilities from Zepl to deliver a purpose-built environment for expert Data Scientists.
  • Enhanced predictive AI Apps for business users, adding geospatial capabilities. Now geospatial data is integrated in DataRobot’s No-Code AI Apps, allowing users to deliver unique insights by location and markets for even more targeted business decisions.

Union.ai announced the release of UnionML, an open-source MLOps framework for building web-native machine learning applications that provides a unified interface for bundling Python functions into machine learning (ML) microservices. To that end, data scientists can create UnionML applications by defining a few core methods that are automatically bundled into ML microservices, starting with model training and offline/online prediction.

The OpenNMS Group, a subsidiary of NantHealth, announced OpenNMS Horizon 30, the latest major release of OpenNMS’ popular open-source network monitoring solution. With the Horizon 30 release, OpenNMS now provides advanced NetFlow thresholding and centralized storage of network device configurations, among other enhanced capabilities. Alongside Horizon 30, OpenNMS also announced the official release of the OpenNMS Plugin API 1.0, which provides the developer community with a reliable resource for building plugins that exchange information between OpenNMS and other systems.

Ardoq launched Ardoq Discover, a tool designed to democratize EA across the organization and enable insights-driven decisions at speed that lead to profitable transformation over time. Ardoq Discover expands upon the core Ardoq tool, which offers Enterprise Architects a rich set of tools for modeling and building data visualizations to ensure any team can gain real-time, contextual insights and contribute their domain expertise. Ardoq Discover is designed for everyone within an organization, not just EA or IT specialists. With an interface as simple to use as a search engine, the tool enables anyone to self-serve insights, manage data, and kick off workflows.

Realtime Robotics announced the release of its new RapidPlan software, which helps manufacturers design and deploy industrial automation faster and more efficiently. Realtime Robotics RapidPlan software autonomously creates and choreographs all robot movements and removes the need for brand-specific robot programming. Within the software environment, users simply click on robots and target points to visualize task plans, saving weeks to months of programming time per project. The same software provides the simulation environment and controls real robots.

Teradata announced the integration and general availability of the Teradata Vantage multi-cloud data and analytics platform with Amazon SageMaker, the end-to-end machine learning (ML) service. By uniting the scalability and openness of Vantage with the intuitive ML model capabilities of Amazon SageMaker, Teradata, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) make it easier for enterprises to scale their ML efforts.

Qumulo announced it has introduced a new petabyte-scale archive optimized offering that enhances Cloud Q as a Service on Azure. This new serverless storage technology enables Qumulo to bring a new “Standard” offering with a fixed 1.7 GB/s of throughput with great economics at scale.

Findability Sciences announced the launch of ERP-Max, a cost-effective add-on AI micro-product for ERP systems. ERP-Max by Findability Sciences is a configurable and customizable AI toolkit, allowing enterprises to have access to actionable leading indicators such as forecasting, prediction, and propensity modeling, effectively unlocking the data in ERP systems to deliver faster ROI. 

OpsMx announced the general availability of OpsMx ISD 2.0, its AI-powered, open, automated CD solution that provides end-to-end insights and control over the software delivery process through a single user interface. Organizations implementing the solution can use the Continuous Delivery engine they prefer – it includes native integrations with Spinnaker and Argo – and their preferred CI/CD toolchain. OpsMx ISD is available as Continuous Delivery-as-a-Service (CDaaS) or as a managed on-premises solution.

ParkourSC announced the expansion of its digital supply chain operations platform by delivering intelligent digital twins specifically designed for real-time supply chain operations across the extended enterprise. The ParkourSC platform will enable its customers to improve resilience by deploying intelligent digital twins for the end-to-end supply chain, continuously align planning and execution by delivering ground-truth and predictive intelligence to planning applications, foster collaboration and automation across the extended enterprise by sharing digital twins and automating workflows, and drive business innovation and growth.

Apptio announced several enhancements to its product portfolio that support organizations adopting a digital-first strategy and improving technology investment decision-making. The latest updates improve the ability to act upon data insights, connecting investments to strategy and linking data across an organization’s technology footprint. New features provide key decision-makers with improved visibility and insights into their technology spending and the ability to prioritize investments that deliver the most value to the organization.

PagerDuty announced new PagerDuty Operations Cloud capabilities to rapidly identify time-sensitive opportunities and incidents. The updates expand PagerDuty’s automation capabilities across the entire product portfolio and enable customizable responses when incidents occur in real time. The new Incident Workflows capabilities streamline the complex orchestration of processes during an incident and make the response process more rapid, automated, and consistent.

Striim announced Striim Platform 4.1, the latest version of its unified real-time data integration and streaming platform. This new release increases the number of sources and targets that companies can read from and write to using Striim’s built-in adapters. Striim Platform 4.1 offers enhancements to stream and integrate data at scale. Customers can read multi-terabytes of data per day using OJet, a new, high-performance Oracle Change Data Capture (CDC) reader.

Vertica, a Micro Focus line of business, announced the release of version 12 of the Vertica analytical database. Vertica 12 includes new major features and enhancements for analytics and machine learning across multi-cloud, hybrid on-premises and cloud, and multi-regional deployments. In addition to supporting more on-premises object stores, Vertica 12 expands its Kubernetes support beyond AWS S3 to Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Azure Blob Storage, and Hadoop Distributed Filesystem Storage (HDFS), making it fully cloud-native in any environment.

Partnerships, collaborations, and more

Acceldata announced an integration with Snowflake that improves insights, control, and spend intelligence of Snowflake environments. Acceldata’s data observability for Snowflake offers a cost-effective solution to align cost and value in Snowflake environments with actionable insights and alerts into spend, administration, misconfigurations or anomalies, and usage trends. Acceldata’s data observability for Snowflake helps customers monitor, analyze, and act to accelerate time to results.

In other Vertica news, the company announced an integration with Vcinity to deliver faster processing of intelligent insights, whether on-premises or in the cloud, without moving the data. Vcinity’s patented data access technology enables Vertica’s advanced analytics and in-database machine learning platform to operate on geographically dispersed data across hybrid cloud environments as if Vertica clusters and its data were co-located. This approach delivers local-like performance regardless of distance or latency and enables data-heavy applications to access data in real time, where and when it is created.

Snow Software and Anodot announced a new strategic partnership to help organizations manage rapidly growing and increasingly complex cloud costs. Snow and Anodot will bridge the disciplines of IT asset management (ITAM) and finance operations (FinOps) to address issues associated with cloud cost management. The two companies are committing significant go-to-market and research & development investments, leveraging core technologies in their portfolios – Snow Atlas and Anodot Cost – to address this acute market challenge.

PingCAP announced the availability of TiDB Cloud, the company’s fully managed database as a service, on Google Cloud Marketplace at a global scale. As a NewSQL product on Marketplace, TiDB Cloud is expanding its reach to provide Google Cloud customers with scalability and resiliency through a subscription-based offer.

Tanla and Kore.ai announced an exclusive partnership in five countries – India, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. This partnership will offer enterprises the ability to upraise the digital experiences of their key stakeholders (customers, partners, and employees) through a conversational AI-based Natural Language Processing (NLP) system.

Expert.ai announced that it has joined the Qlik Technology Partner Program. Qlik’s users can easily expand and improve the reach of data analysis and analytics by leveraging language intelligence provided by expert.ai, executing Python code directly within Qlik Cloud.
