Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced the general availability of three new serverless analytics offerings that make it easy for customers to analyze vast amounts of data without having to configure, scale, or manage the underlying infrastructure. These announcements include new serverless offerings for Amazon EMR to enable customers to run analytics applications using open-source big data frameworks (Apache Spark and Hive) without having to manage the underlying infrastructure, Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (Amazon MSK) to simplify real-time data ingestion and streaming, and Amazon Redshift to allow customers to run high-performance data warehousing and analytics workloads on petabytes of data without having to manage clusters.
In related news, Kyligence announced its Intelligent Cloud OLAP Platform supports Amazon EMR Serverless. Using automatic on-demand provisioning and scaling capabilities available through Amazon EMR Serverless, Kyligence Cloud cost-effectively meets the changing processing requirements across all data volumes.

Intel released the first set of open-source AI reference kits designed to make AI more accessible to organizations in on-premises, cloud, and edge environments. The reference kits include AI model code, end-to-end machine learning pipeline instructions, libraries, and Intel oneAPI components for cross-architecture performance. These kits are designed to help data scientists and developers learn how to deploy AI faster and more easily across many industries with higher accuracy, better performance, and lower total cost of implementation.
TIBCO Software announced the release of TIBCO ModelOps, which enables businesses to deploy AI models faster, from anywhere to everywhere, safely and at scale. The solution is format-agnostic, supporting all common model formats, including API-based models in any cloud service or on-premises. TIBCO ModelOps makes it easy to add governed models to TIBCO Spotfire, TIBCO Data Virtualization, and TIBCO Streaming, with more to follow. Users looking to employ TIBCO ModelOps in existing environments can take advantage of its format-agnostic and open-standards approach.

StarRocks announced a cloud-native version of its SQL engine. StarRocks Cloud, a fully managed software as a service (SaaS) platform, greatly simplifies the delivery of real-time analytics projects and reduces the time to business value for enterprises. This new cloud-based offering enables the democratization of real-time analytics to help further accelerate digital transformation strategies.
ScyllaDB announced ScyllaDB V, the latest evolution of its scalable NoSQL database built for data-intensive applications that require high performance and low latency. ScyllaDB V introduces a host of performance, resilience, and elasticity enhancements that help companies power instantaneous experiences with their massive datasets.
Wallaroo Labs announced the general availability launch of its new, free Community Edition (Wallaroo CE) version of its enterprise product. Wallaroo CE is simple to install and configure in any major cloud and offers the full deploy/run/observe capabilities of Wallaroo Enterprise Edition for up to five active deployments for up to five users. It includes a self-service toolkit to deploy ML pipelines and run inferencing, model management and collaboration features, model performance metrics and advanced experimentation, an ultrafast inference engine, and access to the Wallaroo Community Slack for support.
ChaosSearch announced enhancements to its log analytics capabilities that make it easier for organizations to conduct exploratory and investigative analytics at scale. Built within the ChaosSearch Cloud Data Platform and now available to all customers, the augmented capabilities eliminate the architectural complexity and challenges created by traditional data platforms and dramatically improve time to insights, data reliability, and cost.
Paladin Cloud announced its Security-as-Code platform. Paladin Cloud supports developers in their cloud-native journey by helping them identify blind spots in their cloud environments to protect their applications and data. The platform uses an extensible policy management plane to holistically improve cloud security for developers and security teams and is now available to the general public covering AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
CData Software announced the availability of an all-new AWS Glue client connector for CData Connect Cloud, expanding access to hundreds of data sources and destinations for AWS Glue customers. Additionally, Connect Cloud provides a library of real-time, no-code connectors that enable customers to access and leverage more of their disparate cloud data within their AWS Glue pipelines.
Shoreline.io announced Shoreline’s open source solutions library, a collection of Op Packs that make it easier to diagnose and repair the most common infrastructure incidents in production cloud environments. Launching with over 35 Op Packs freely available to the community, the solutions library addresses issues like JVM memory leaks, filling disks, rogue processes, and stuck Kubernetes pods, among others.
Micro Focus announced the general availability of Visual COBOL 8.0 and Enterprise Suite 8.0. These enhanced solutions enable businesses to modernize COBOL and mainframe applications for deployment to the cloud. Such capabilities are increasingly needed to modernize legacy applications and to support digital transformation initiatives.
Soda announced the general availability of Soda Core, the open-source framework for Data Engineers to embed data reliability checks and quality management into data pipelines. Powered by SodaCL (Soda Checks Language), also released as the first Domain-Specific Language (DSL) for data reliability, Soda Core introduces data engineering as-code practices to create broad coverage, eliminate data downtime, and unlock the tasks of detecting and resolving issues across the entire data product lifecycle.
UserTesting announced advanced Instant Insight features, powered by machine learning, to help companies speed the analysis of human insights at the test level and accelerate time to insights. Using data-automation and proprietary models, the UserTesting Human Insight Platform can detect patterns and anomalies in the customer data, and automatically identify high-value insights within the Customer Experience Narratives.
CodeLogic launched a developer toolkit that scans post-compile binaries, runtime app behavior, and database connections to provide a complete and up-to-the-second picture of infrastructure-wide software connections and dependencies. CodeLogic addresses the complexity that leads to developer unhappiness and lack of productivity. It frees developers from managing break/fix cycles, training new team members, chasing down vulnerabilities for security audits, evaluating technical debt, and other non-coding activities.
Signal AI announced the launch of its External Intelligence Graph, a comprehensive view of an organization’s external world built on real-time data and content. Signal AI’s External Intelligence Graph maps the relationships between the things a modern organization needs to care about, like climate change, supply chain risk, or competitor intelligence, and highlights how an organization is “associated” with these important topics. Making sense of this new kind of data can show how relationships are changing and also offers up “unknown unknowns” surfacing new and previously unlinked connections to an organization or individual.

Kyligence announced its Intelligent Cloud OLAP Platform supports Amazon EMR Serverless, a serverless option from Amazon Web Services (AWS) that makes it easier for data analysts and engineers to run open-source big data analytics frameworks. Using automatic on-demand provisioning and scaling capabilities available through Amazon EMR Serverless, Kyligence Cloud meets the changing processing requirements across all data volumes.
ABB and Red Hat announced a global partnership to enable industries using ABB’s process automation and industrial software to scale rapidly and flexibly, leveraging Red Hat’s enterprise platforms and application services built on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Red Hat OpenShift increases the deployment flexibility and scalability of ABB Ability Edgenius and ABB Ability Genix Industrial Analytics and AI Suite.
Solace announced it has joined the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Accelerate Program, a co-sell program for AWS Partners, which provide software solutions that run on or integrate with AWS. With native, built-in integration and proven deployments leveraging AWS products and services like AWS Lambda, Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), and Amazon MSK, the Solace PubSub+ Platform provides a way to create, document, discover, and stream all events from wherever they are produced to wherever they need to be consumed.
Clootrack announced the availability of its granular customer experience data on Snowflake Marketplace. With Snowflake, joint customers can leverage Clootrack customer experience data points while performing product strategy, positioning, and white space opportunity identification analyses.
Canonical and Google Cloud today announced an optimized Ubuntu image for the preview of Tau T2A virtual machines (VMs) on Compute Engine. The Ampere Altra Arm-based T2A VMs are ideal for computing workloads, including microservices, application servers, machine learning (ML), open-source databases, and in-memory caches. Google Cloud users will benefit from running Ubuntu on a secure, scalable, and highly cost-effective cloud infrastructure.
Procore Technologies announced it is working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to leverage AWS IoT TwinMaker to extend the value of construction data into facility operations. The tools AWS IoT TwinMaker provides accelerate the creation of digital twins for buildings, factories, industrial equipment, and production lines. AWS IoT TwinMaker will allow Procore data to be integrated from design and construction into operations.
Prosimo announced the general availability of its integration with AWS Cloud WAN. This comes on the heels of AWS announcing the general availability of AWS Cloud WAN. AWS Cloud WAN customers can now deploy the Prosimo platform to build an elastic and scalable Full Stack Cloud Transit for cross-region connectivity and segmentation to simplify and reduce operational burdens, deliver better experiences, and lower costs.
Qlik announced support for the newly launched Amazon Redshift Serverless cloud data warehouse with integrations to both Qlik Sense cloud analytics and Qlik Data Integration. Combining Amazon Redshift Serverless with Qlik Data Integration ensures joint customers have the relevant and timely data they need from key sources like SAP and Mainframe for analysis on-demand through the cloud while also benefiting from the ability to scale analytics through the cloud with Qlik Sense.
Ensono announced the acquisition of AndPlus. AndPlus’ agile approach to digital transformation allows its team of experts to iterate quickly, provide full visibility, and help clients get to market faster. AndPlus’ capabilities complement Ensono’s end-to-end transformation expertise in the areas of cloud-native development, application modernization, site reliability engineering (SRE), DevSecOps, and data engineering.
Privitar announced it has acquired Kormoon. Combining automation technology and inputs from expert advisors to assess an organization’s level of risk, the Kormoon solution provides a simplified workflow to ensure requirements are met. Kormoon’s technology will be used to extend the functionality of Privitar’s data privacy and provisioning offerings, adding new capabilities to quickly enable organizations to understand and comply with the rules governing data.
Immuta announced that it has been approved by Snowflake as a Snowflake Ready Technology Validation Partner, the first in Snowflake’s “Data Security” partner category. Achieving this validation confirms that Immuta’s Snowflake integrations adhere to the platform’s best practices around performance, reliability, and security.
Dataiku announced it has joined the Deloitte US Data and AI Alliance Ecosystem to help customers implement and scale AI and MLOps across their organizations. Deloitte’s alliance ecosystem includes relationships with more than 60 companies. Together, Dataiku and the alliance will work to help enterprises deploy AI solutions at scale to thousands of users, improve efficiencies in ML pipelines, manage risk and governance, and enhance data quality.
D2iQ announced a partnership with Aqua Security to help organizations create a seamless DevSecOps experience that accelerates the deployment of secure smart cloud-native applications. Through this partnership, organizations can now run Aqua’s Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) on the D2iQ Kubernetes Platform (DKP), enhancing the security of containerized workloads, driving faster and more secure development and release cycles, and enabling a mature DevSecOps approach.
MANTA announced that its automated data lineage solution is now integrated with IBM Cloud Pak for Data. Through this new agreement, MANTA Automated Data Lineage for IBM Cloud Pak for Data is available to clients using IBM’s data fabric solution for data governance and privacy. This enables clients to add MANTA’s capabilities for historical, indirect, and technical data lineage to Watson Knowledge Catalog in IBM Cloud Pak for Data. That helps companies perform root cause analyses, meet common regulatory compliance standards, and gain deeper insights into data quality issues.
