Zilliz, whose founders created the Milvus open-source project, announced major contributions to the Milvus 2.1 release. Milvus is one of the world’s most advanced vector databases, capable of managing massive quantities of both structured and unstructured data to accelerate the development of next-generation data fabric. With this 2.1 update, Milvus sees significant improvement in its performance, reducing search latency on million-scale datasets to five milliseconds while further simplifying deployment as well as ops workflow. Additionally, added functionality further bridges the gap between data pools, removes data silos, and offers performance and availability enhancements.
Next Pathway announced a collaboration with Microsoft to accelerate the migration from legacy data warehouses and data lakes to Microsoft Azure. Next Pathway’s Shift Migration Suite is being offered as part of the Service to plan and execute Cloud Migrations to Azure. The suite includes Shift Analyzer, which examines source legacy application workloads to review the code types and objects that are present, and Shift Translator, which accelerates the translation, testing, and migration of complex workloads. Additionally, Next Pathway’s technology can also move workloads from other cloud platforms and cloud data warehouses to Azure.
Flow Security launched a data security platform that discovers and protects both data at rest and in motion. The Flow platform supports use cases, including discovering and classifying data flows to external services, policy enforcement, automatic data-related threat modeling, and reducing data access permissions to the minimum. It is designed for use in highly-regulated markets such as eCommerce, fintech, healthcare, InsurTech, and more.
MemVerge announced the general availability of two new software products, Memory Machine Cloud Edition and Memory Viewer. Memory Machine Cloud Edition software uses patented ZeroIO memory snapshot technology and cloud service orchestration to transparently checkpoint long-running applications and allow customers to safely use low-cost Spot Instances. Memory Viewer software provides system administrators with actionable information about DRAM, their most expensive and under-utilized asset.
Viavi Solutions announced the latest update to its network performance monitoring and diagnostics (NPMD) platform, Observer. Version 18.8 brings bringing two key capabilities to cloud-based applications and deployments – automated End-User Experience (EUE) scoring and problem domain isolation. Observer EUE scoring combines the insights of packet and active monitoring into a single, unified value for every network transaction. As part of the update, the company announced that Observer Apex and Observer Gigastor, both integral to the performance and diagnostic capability of the Observer platform, will now also be available directly in AWS Marketplace.
ManageEngine announced that its IT analytics product, Analytics Plus, is now available as a SaaS offering, enabling users to set up a fully functional, integrated analytics platform in under 60 seconds. Analytics Plus now connects with more than 40 business applications such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Stripe, SurveyMonkey, Google Analytics, Xero, QuickBooks, Salesforce CRM, and LinkedIn, along with over 30 IT monitoring applications such as Solarwinds, Nagios, Splunk, DataDog, AppDynamics, and OpenNMS.
Talend announced its support for Amazon Redshift Serverless. Talend’s integration with Amazon Redshift Serverless reinforces our commitment and leadership in supporting businesses to enable analytics with a foundation of healthy data they can access, trust, and act on to achieve successful outcomes. Amazon Redshift Serverless is a new serverless option for Amazon Redshift that makes it easy to run and scale high-performance analytics workloads on petabytes of data in seconds without having to manage data warehouse infrastructure. By supporting Amazon Redshift Serverless, Talend also provides complementary features, including Talend Trust Score, which automatically crawls and provides a health assessment of data in Amazon Redshift.
Armory announced the availability of its CD Self-Hosted and Managed 2.28 product release. Release 2.28 helps developers in confidently deploying software, increasing stability, and improving time-to-market. It includes new features created to address common customer pain points within Terraform outputs and parallel pipelines. Specific features include Terraformer show stage, remote backend support for Terraform Enterprise and Terraform Cloud, and max concurrent pipeline executions, where users can control the amount of maximum parallel pipeline executions.
Rafay Systems announced new capabilities for Kubernetes Management and Operations that empower enterprise platform teams to provide developer self-service for faster application deployments with the necessary guardrails enterprises require. With the new features, Rafay’s Kubernetes Operations Platform (KOP) provides platform teams with an efficient way to establish Kubernetes standards and best practices while freeing developers to rapidly innovate.

Dremio announced today that Dremio Cloud, the open data lakehouse platform delivered as a managed service, is now available to purchase in AWS Marketplace. This allows customers to purchase and deploy Dremio as a managed service on AWS directly in AWS Marketplace. Additionally, users can purchase and launch Dremio Cloud using a preconfigured template. Data teams can spin up Dremio Cloud in a matter of seconds and start exploring their data in Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3).
mParticle announced that it has acquired Vidora. With the acquisition, teams can now easily create and deploy models across mParticle’s partner ecosystem of 300+ API integrations to improve decisioning, segmentation, and personalization. The benefits of the combined offering include enhanced utilization of marketing and analytics tools, Predictive audience segmentation, and more.
SingleStore announced it has selected AppDirect to power SingleStore Connect, a subscription commerce platform. SingleStore Connect is an interactive marketplace for partners and customers to collaborate, discover new use cases and locate complementary technologies to maximize their SingleStore solution investments.
UiPath announced it has acquired Re:infer, a natural language processing (NLP) company for unstructured documents and communications. Re:infer uses machine learning (ML) technology to mine context from communication messages and transform them into actionable data with speed and accuracy. Combining Re:infer’s NLP technology with UiPath’s Document Understanding and AI products expands the breadth of the company’s AI-powered automation capabilities and enables new automation opportunities for customers.
CyberRes, a Micro Focus line of business, announced a partnership with Google Cloud to support the upcoming release of BigQuery remote functions. The integration will enable CyberRes Voltage customers to protect data in use, in motion, and at rest in Google BigQuery. Mutual customers can use Voltage’s encryption, hashing, and tokenization services within BigQuery in conjunction with Google BigQuery’s native security to address strict privacy compliance controls.
Census announced that it has expanded its partnership with Snowflake and achieved Premier Partner status. Snowflake customers can use Census’s Reverse ETL to sync analytics and empower everyone in an organization to automate and take action with trustworthy data. As a Premier Partner, Census will continue collaborating closely with Snowflake to develop new solutions that help joint customers extract more value from data stored in the cloud.
Reltio announced that its Reltio Connected Data Platform is now available on Microsoft’s Azure Marketplace. Reltio Connected Data Platform allows users to create high-quality, trustworthy data, share near real-time data insights, and mitigate data silos. This partnership allows companies using the Azure ecosystem to create, access, and refine available data for real-time tech and business strategy shifts.
Semtech announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement for the acquisition of Sierra Wireless, an Internet of Things (IoT) solutions provider. The acquisition will create a diverse portfolio of connectivity solutions to serve the growing IoT market, bringing together the ultra-low power benefits of LoRa with higher bandwidth capabilities of cellular.
