Capgemini announced a global expansion of its Intelligent App Factory on Azure that will bring together Mistral AIand Microsoft to accelerate the adoption of generative AI (Gen AI) technologies. Together, they will leverage the strengths of Mistral AI’s language models available in Microsoft Azure AI Studio, the Microsoft Cloud, and Capgemini’s end-to-end generative AI transformation capabilities to further develop scalable, efficient, and secure solutions for clients globally.
The key elements of the new collaboration include:
- Accelerating Gen AI adoption: By integrating Mistral AI’s leading LLM technologies with Microsoft Azure AI Studio and the Microsoft Cloud, businesses can easily adopt and implement Gen AI solutions.
- Driving enhanced cost efficiency and security: Scalable yet cost-effective solutions so that companies of all sizes can access the benefits of Gen AI technologies. Leveraging Capgemini’s RAISE platform, organizations can deploy Mistral AI’s Gen AI open models that are highly customizable, cost-efficient, secure, and reliable, with all the necessary guardrails in place.
- Expansion in North America: Building on successful projects with clients in Europe, this collaboration will focus on benefiting organizations in North America by providing tailor-made solutions that address specific market challenges and client requirements.
C3 AI and Capgemini announced an expansion of their partnership designed to accelerate and enhance the delivery of Enterprise AI solutions across industries. The partnership combines the power of C3 AI’s Enterprise AI applications with Capgemini’s deep industry expertise and proven global implementation capabilities and capacity. Together, the two companies will deliver Enterprise AI solutions tailored to specific industries, including life sciences, energy, utilities, government, banking, and manufacturing. To drive this partnership extension, Capgemini will expand its dedicated C3 AI global practice, focused on delivering Enterprise AI solutions to joint clients across industries at scale, with rapid time to value.
In other C3 AI news, the company announced a strategic alliance with Microsoft to accelerate the adoption of Enterprise AI on Microsoft Azure. The agreement further combines C3 AI’s Enterprise AI–native application software, including C3 Generative AI, with Azure’s robust and expansive ecosystem to benefit enterprises globally.

NVIDIA and Microsoft announced a variety of new product integrations that advance full-stack NVIDIA AI development on Microsoft platforms and applications. Among news released at today’s event:
- Microsoft announced the launch of the first cloud private preview of the Azure ND GB200 V6 VM series, based on the NVIDIA Blackwell platform. The new offering will accelerate breakthroughs in generative AI.
- Microsoft revealed that Azure Container Apps now supports NVIDIA-accelerated workloads with serverless GPUs, enabling simplified and scalable AI deployment.
- NVIDIA AI software now includes new reference workflows for industrial AI and an NVIDIA Omniverse AI Blueprint for creating immersive, AI-powered visuals
- NVIDIA introduced multimodal SLMs available soon on RTX AI PCs and workstations, enhancing digital human interactions and virtual assistants with greater realism.
Baffle announced that Baffle’s data protection platform now extends to pgvector on PostgreSQL, making Baffle’s Real Queryable Encryption capability available for vector databases and the embeddings of sensitive data that can lead to data breaches. Organizations using vector databases to store text and associated embeddings containing sensitive data for use by their GenAI application can now run vector database operations, like similarity searches, while remaining compliant with security and privacy requirements.
Black Kite introduced cloud asset mapping to enhance vendor risk management and give organizations a new dimension of visibility. Now, customers can track and monitor their own cloud infrastructure while also gaining insights into their vendors’ cloud environments. Black Kite enables seamless cloud asset discovery across major providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure. It delivers high-quality data on vendor environments and assesses concentration risk.
CData Software introduced CData Connect Spreadsheets, a new tool designed to streamline bringing data into the most popular analytics platform: spreadsheets. Connect Spreadsheets enables users to access and work with data from over 250 sources directly within Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. The solution is available for free in Google Workspace Marketplace and Microsoft AppSource. Additionally, Connect Spreadsheets ensures that all data is securely encrypted in flight and never stored.
Crunchy Data announced the launch of Crunchy Data Warehouse, a modern, high-performance analytics database built on PostgreSQL. Crunchy Data Warehouse extends Postgres to support high-performance analytical workloads alongside operational database workloads, combining regular Postgres tables with fully transactional Iceberg tables. By seamlessly integrating the DuckDB query engine and other modern OLAP technologies, Crunchy Data Warehouse offers ultra-fast analytics within a native Postgres experience. The solution is available as a managed service on Crunchy Bridge, the managed PostgreSQL platform from Crunchy Data.
Denodo announced the launch of Denodo Platform 9.1, adding new AI capabilities and tools to Denodo Platform 9, released in June. Denodo Platform 9.1 complements features in the previous release with the AI-powered Denodo Assistant, which leverages the rich semantic layer of the Denodo Platform to automate data engineering tasks as well as deliver contextualized insights and intelligent recommendations to data analysts and other business users.
Domino Data Lab announced new platform capabilities and integrations with Amazon Web Services (AWS), NetApp, and NVIDIA that help shorten AI time-to-value and reduce cost and risk without impeding innovation. Domino is delivering a broad set of single-platform capabilities across data, development, and deployment of AI workloads anywhere —whether in the cloud or on-premises— with full security.
Franz announced AllegroGraph 8.3, with support for additional AI models offered via Ollama. AllegroGraph, a Neuro-Symbolic AI Platform, combines Machine Learning (statistical AI) with knowledge and reasoning (symbolic AI) capabilities. This latest release strengthens AllegroGraph’s position as a critical technology for enterprises seeking to integrate advanced AI capabilities with Knowledge Graph-driven solutions.
Graphwise announced the immediate availability of GraphDB 10.8. This release includes the next-generation Talk-to-Your-Graph capability that integrates large language models (LLMs) with vector-based retrieval of relevant enterprise information and precise querying of knowledge graphs. GraphDB 10.8 also enables the deployment of seamless, high-availability clusters across multiple regions, ensuring zero downtime and data consistency without compromising performance.
Hitachi Vantara announced the availability of Hitachi iQ with the NVIDIA HGX platform in an end-to-end solution stack of fast, scalable, and resilient infrastructure for modern AI systems. Hitachi iQ provides cost-optimized solutions, tailored to a variety of industries and use cases, including large language models, inferencing, model training, analytics, digital twins, and image processing.
IBM and AMD announced a collaboration to deploy AMD Instinct MI300X accelerators as a service on IBM Cloud. This offering, which is expected to be available in the first half of 2025, aims to enhance performance and power efficiency for Gen AI models and high-performance computing (HPC) applications for enterprise clients. This collaboration will also enable support for AMD Instinct MI300X accelerators within IBM’s watsonx AI and data platform, as well as Red Hat Enterprise Linux AI inferencing support.
Informatica announced three advanced capabilities for Microsoft Azure that will help customers build, deploy, and activate AI and Analytics-driven innovations with trusted data. The new capabilities are Gen AI Blueprint for Azure OpenAI Service, which accelerates the development and deployment of enterprise-grade GenAI and copilot experiences with reference architectures and templates; enhanced SQL ELT for Microsoft Azure; and Open Table Iceberg Support for ADLS Gen2.
OpenText launched its newest release of Cloud Editions 24.4 (CE 24.4), highlighting innovations that enhance digital transformation, software delivery, analytics, and content management. The updates address critical challenges faced by organizations as they move to the cloud, modernize legacy systems, and harness the power of AI for improved decision-making and operational efficiency. Key updates and new capabilities include updates to OpenText Business Cloud, updates to OpenText Business AI solutions, and updates to OpenText Business Technology solutions.
Pegasystems announced the availability of new AI-driven legacy discovery capabilities in Pega GenAI Blueprint to accelerate the task of modernizing legacy systems that hold organizations back. Now, teams can analyze their existing systems in seconds and reimagine their workflows while reducing technical debt. The new Pega GenAI Blueprint legacy discovery capabilities include features for analyzing workflows, process mining analysis, data definitions, and integrations.
Penguin Solutions announced a collaboration with Dell Technologies to deliver complete AI solutions that accelerate customers’ time to value through validated, high-performing AI infrastructure. These end-to-end Penguin OriginAI solutions combine Dell PowerEdge AI-optimized servers, Dell PowerScale storage, and Dell PowerSwitch data center switches with Penguin’s validated solution architectures. When enhanced by Penguin’s ClusterWare intelligent cluster management software and supported by Penguin’s expert AI and high-performance computing infrastructure services, GPU cluster deployment and management are simplified while driving increased performance and availability.
Quantexa announced the availability of Quantexa’s Unify Workload for Microsoft Fabric. Quantexa Unify, currently in preview, brings advanced, AI-powered entity resolution and data matching to Microsoft Fabric. This allows organizations to take advantage of mission-critical capabilities from Quantexa’s Decision Intelligence Platform to create an enterprise data estate with a unified, interconnected view of their data. To that end, organizations can automatically identify, match, and consolidate records of the same entities (like people, businesses, locations, and contacts) despite any inconsistencies or errors.
Rafay Systems announced new platform advancements that help enterprises and GPU cloud providers deliver developer-friendly consumption workflows for GPU infrastructure. Enterprises investing in GPU-based infrastructure in data centers can leverage the Rafay Platform to roll out feature-rich enterprise-wide GPU clouds that developers and data scientists can consume on demand — complete with workbenches for model training, fine-tuning, and inferencing. GPU cloud providers deploying GPUs for consumption by downstream customers can leverage the Rafay Platform to operate a full-featured, multi-tenant GPU PaaS.
Red Hat announced an extended collaboration with Microsoft to streamline and scale artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI (gen AI) deployments in the cloud. With this collaboration, Red Hat Enterprise Linux AI (RHEL AI) will be available on Azure Marketplace as an optimized and validated foundation model platform to run on Microsoft Azure environments, as well as a bring-your-own-subscription (BYOS) offering.
Securiti announced Security for AI Copilots in SaaS apps. Securiti provides a comprehensive solution enabling organizations to confidently boost employee productivity while ensuring robust security and continuous data controls. With Securiti, organizations leveraging Copilots, such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, can prevent unintended data access, strengthen data security posture, prioritize sensitive data risks, leverage Copilot native controls, automate remediation with a federated approach, and minimize redundant and obsolete data.
Snowflake announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Datavolo. With the acquisition, Snowflake will deepen its service in the ‘bronze layer’ of the data lifecycle and will provide a simple way for data engineering teams to integrate all of their enterprise systems with Snowflake’s unified platform. Together, Datavolo and Snowflake will both simplify data engineering workloads and deliver enhanced data interoperability and extensibility – a building block for effective enterprise AI.
In other Snowflake news, the company announced a strategic multi-year partnership with Anthropic, an AI safety and research company. The goal is to help global enterprises develop and scale easy, efficient, and trusted AI products, apps, and workflows powered by the latest models.
StarTree unveiled a set of new innovations designed to equip organizations to efficiently handle evolving data structures, enhance query performance, and streamline user access management, ensuring faster and more reliable real-time analytics at scale. New innovations in StarTree Cloud, include Performance Manager, designed to help teams scale up quickly and minimize time to value when using Apache Pinot; schema evolution that allows the system to accommodate new fields, indexes, altered data types, or other structural modifications without disrupting operations; Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Management; and more.
Striim announced the general availability of Striim 5.0. The new release helps companies seamlessly manage the data volume surges and soaring data quality requirements of effective generative AI deployments while harnessing next-generation security and scale, critical automation features, and comprehensive modernization for mission-critical data infrastructure. Key features of Striim 5.0 include real-time data processing capabilities, Generative AI integration, Striim Copilot, expanded Enterprise connectivity, faster time-to-value, and enhanced security and data privacy.
Teradata announced that Teradata AI Unlimited is now available for public preview through the Microsoft Fabric Workload Hub. Microsoft Fabric Workload Hub allows customers to discover and add new ISV-offered capabilities to their Fabric environment. AI Unlimited in Microsoft Fabric is a serverless compute engine that was designed to speed up Trusted AI innovations delivered at enterprise scale. It features Teradata’s analytics functionality, ClearScape Analytics, which is now available to all customers, even to those who do not use Teradata VantageCloud.
