Big data application performance management company Pepperdata has rolled out its new Big Data Cloud Migration Cost Assessment for enterprises seeking to migrate their big data to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or IBM Cloud.
This metrics-based assessment analyzes workloads and SLAs to guide company decisions on how to conduct migrations while reducing costs and maintaining SLA’s.
Enterprises looking at hybrid cloud strategies often estimate the cost of moving entire cluster. The assessment analyzes memory, I/O, and CPU every five seconds for each task. It maps on-premises workloads to optimal static and on-demand instances on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and IBM Cloud. It also calculates the cloud CPU and memory required to maintain the same performance and SLAs as on-site infrastructure provides. Its other key features include:
