But many of the technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT) and enterprise connectivity that need to be adopted on the journey to digital transformation can deliver significant efficiency improvements in day-to-day operations and benefit the bottom line as they are implemented.

The bottom line is that while industry experts preach the need for digital transformation, factory owners, plant managers, and front-line workers can make use of IoT and enterprise connectivity to embrace data-driven decision making immediately.
