The panels will have open standard architecture for supporting Industry 4.0 applications.
American Industrial Systems, Inc (AIS), an Irvine, Calif.-based designer and manufacturer of human-machine interfaces, industrial PCs, displays, touch panels and operator terminals, announced on March 7 the launch of their HMI Touch Screen Panels and Industrial Panel PCs. The devices are smart-family PC-based and support OPC, MQTT, and REST IoT protocols to make able to handle industrial IoT and Industry 4.0 applications.
The panels come in three sizes: premium, standard, and compact, which range from 7” to 24”, to fit any workspace and allow users to stream real-time machine and sensor data into cloud-based platforms for predictive analytics, plant automation, and other IIoT tasks, the company’s website stated. They are built to order and field replaceable, with their PC automation using standard Ethernet and TCP/IP connections for HMI/SCADA and IT/OT integration.
