SAP announced the general availability of SAP Process Automation. SAP Process Automation simplifies process automation with visual drag-and-drop tools and pre-built industry-specific content. Business users can now build workflows as well as automate tasks and decisions with ease and, if needed, collaborate with development teams to meet all their automation needs. The solution combines the capabilities of SAP Workflow Management and SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation in an easy-to-use, no-code AI-powered experience. The new solution enables organizations of all sizes to:
- Simplify automation with visual drag-and-drop tools and industry-specific content
- Automate faster with business context in a unified AI-powered workflow management and robotic process automation solution
- Manage processes and automations with confidence on a trusted, enterprise-grade, multi-cloud platform.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced the completion of its first 16 AWS Local Zones in the U.S. and plans to launch new AWS Local Zones in 32 new metropolitan areas in 26 countries around the world. AWS Local Zones allow customers to use core AWS services locally while seamlessly connecting to the rest of their workloads running in AWS Regions. Specifically, they are a type of infrastructure deployment that extends AWS Regions to place compute, storage, database, and other AWS services at the edge of the cloud near large population, industry, and information technology (IT) centers—enabling customers to deploy applications that require single-digit millisecond latency closer to end-users or on-premises data centers.
IBM announced a series of new capabilities designed to modernize applications across hybrid cloud environments. These include plans to deliver IBM Z as-a-service on IBM Cloud for development and test, as well as additional tools for developing hybrid applications. The items include:
- Available as a closed experimental now, IBM plans to deliver IBM Wazi as-a-Service (Wazi aaS), bringing z/OS capabilities to IBM Cloud for the first time, expected to be generally available in 2H 2022, with on-demand access to z/OS, available as needed for development and test. This will provide z/OS developers with the agility of a public cloud development environment with the ability to use a variable amount of resources, and pay-as-you-go, matching burst and business demand.
- IBM also announced the IBM Z and Cloud Modernization Stack, expected to be generally available on March 15, to jumpstart or accelerate application modernization. This delivers the first set of capabilities in support of the IBM Z and Cloud Modernization Center, which is intended to help increase agility and accelerate transformation, including support for popular open-source projects.
Striim, Inc. announced a new, strategic partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to combine its platform with HPE NonStop solutions to deliver Striim for HPE NonStop. The combination of Striim and HPE NonStop offers the ability to leverage continuous data flows for real-time, cross-organization business insights. The solution also supports advanced data mesh architectures capable enough to handle high-volume, transactional data. Additionally, the joint solution will be offered as a cloud service that can run on-premises, at the edge, or in a co-location facility using the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform.
H2O.ai announced H2O Hydrogen Torch, a deep learning training engine that makes it easy for companies of any size to make state-of-the-art image, video, and natural language processing (NLP) models without coding. For images and videos, H2O Hydrogen Torch can be trained for classification, regression, object detection, semantic segmentation, and metric learning. For text-based or NLP use cases, H2O Hydrogen Torch can be trained for text classification and regression, token classification, span prediction, sequence-to-sequence analysis, and metric learning.
Sway AI announced its no-code AI platform for enterprise users and data scientists alike. With Sway AI’s platform, enterprises can rapidly build and deploy AI solutions without AI experience or upfront investments. Using Sway AI, data scientists and AI experts can collaborate with stakeholders and build prototypes faster, dramatically reducing their time-to-deployment.
Databricks announced the Databricks Lakehouse for Financial Services, an open, modern data platform tailored to use cases across the banking, insurance and capital markets sectors. With support for real-time analytics, business intelligence (BI), and AI capabilities on all data types, Databricks empowers customers by providing a multi-cloud environment to mitigate the regulatory risk associated with vendor lock-in. The Lakehouse for Financial Services incorporates data solutions and use-case accelerators for critical industry use cases like compliance and regulatory reporting, risk management, fraud, and open banking.

Tetrate announced the general availability of Tetrate Service Bridge (TSB), Golden Gate release. This latest release combines API Gateway, a web application firewall (WAF), and service mesh capabilities into a single management plane, delivering a cloud-agnostic unified application connectivity platform. By unifying these capabilities, TSB brings centralized governance and decentralized enforcement to application networking—essential for implementing zero-trust security across legacy and modern workloads.
Blueshift Cybersecurity announced the launch of Blueshift XDR (Extended Detection and Response), a cybersecurity management service. The Blueshift XDR service uses layered security, advanced automation, and machine learning to prevent, repel, and remediate cyber threats. It combines these capabilities with a dedicated 24/7/365 US-based security-operations center.
Deepwatch announced the general availability of its managed detection and response solution for mid-market businesses to strengthen protection and defend against cyber threats. With Deepwatch MDR Essentials, organizations can start realizing the benefits of an expert-managed security operations center (SOC) in less than one hour.
Oracle announced new logistics management capabilities within Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM). The updates to Oracle Fusion Cloud Transportation Management and Oracle Fusion Cloud Global Trade Management can help organizations reduce costs and risk, improve customer experience, and become more adaptable to business disruptions.
Kyndryl and Nokia announced a global network and edge computing alliance aimed delivering industrial-grade reliable and secure LTE and 5G private wireless networking. The partnership builds on a successful private wireless connectivity project that yielded a solution combining Nokia Digital Automation Cloud (DAC) application platform with Kyndryl’s consulting, design, implementation, and managed services. The solution is designed to support the move to Industry 4.0.
InfluxData announced product enhancements to deliver a more intuitive experience for those working with time-series data at the edge and deliver better data processing. New features include the ability to run analytics at the edge with persistent and replicated data, broadcast new data to thousands of devices simultaneously, and contextualize IoT data across multiple sources.
Deci announced a new set of image classification models, dubbed DeciNets, for Intel Cascade Lake CPUs. Deci’s proprietary Automated Neural Architecture Construction (AutoNAC) technology automatically generates the new image classification models that improve published models and deliver more than 2x improvement in runtime, coupled with improved accuracy.
Guavus announced a new Guavus Ops-IQ Mobile Voice Analytics product that gives operators the granular, real-time data they need to prioritize customer quality of experience and meet their customers’ high expectations for 5G and other mobile voice services.

Kyligence announced the beta availability of its intelligent data cloud platform on Google Cloud. Designed and built for today’s cloud, Kyligence Cloud enables fast, flexible, and cost-optimal big data analysis applications on a data lake based on cloud-native computing and storage. Kyligence Cloud can be seamlessly integrated with Google Cloud Storage to help maximize the use of existing cloud assets.
Hexaware announced it has become a Premier Services Partner of Snowflake. This achievement recognizes Hexaware’s commitment to delivering accelerated outcomes through its proprietary Amaze for Data & AI platform at scale and speed on Snowflake’s Data Cloud along with its Snowflake Center of Excellence.
Mendix, a Siemens business, announced an expanded go-to-market relationship with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This builds on the existing relationship between the two companies. To simplify the procurement and provisioning process, three Mendix offerings are now available in the AWS Marketplace: The Mendix low-code platform, Intelligent Automation for Banking, and Intelligent Automation for Insurance.
Shoreline.io announced the general availability (GA) of its incident automation platform on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), building on existing GA support for AWS. With today’s news, customers can seamlessly remediate issues across their multi-cloud environments as if they were working on a single box.
D4t4 Solutions announced an expansion of its partnership with Quantexa with a new joint capability that pairs Quantexa’s Contextual Decision Intelligence (CDI) Platform with real-time biometric profiling via the Celebrus Fraud Data Platform (FDP) to prevent fraud before it happens.
Nintex announced the company has acquired Kryon to further extend the intelligent process automation (IPA) capabilities of the Nintex Process Platform. The acquisition will allow Nintex to offer its customers more advanced automation capabilities and automated process discovery technology within its platform.
Altair acquired Cassini to deepen its expertise and strengthen its ability to offer digital thread solutions via the Altair One cloud platform. Altair One’s top-down and bottom-up simulation data management capabilities coupled with Cassini’s applications and technology will provide a closed-loop product verification and validation platform.
Bfore.ai and Quad9 announced a partnership to augment protective DNS with PreCrime cybersecurity protection. The integration of bfore.ai and Quad9 generates hundreds of thousands of new and unique indicators of future cyber threats, enabling their customers to be protected by cyber-attacks before they even start.
Voltron Data, the largest contributor to Apache Arrow, launched with plans to expand Arrow-native computing and double its globally distributed and diverse team, primarily in engineering and go-to-market.
