In this week’s real-time analytics news: NVIDIA made multiple announcements at its GPU Technology Conference, UiPath introed new features, and more.

NVIDIA used its GPU Technology Conference (GTC) this week to make numerous announcements. They include:
- The unveiling of the NVIDIA NeMo Megatron framework for training large language models with trillions of parameters. The solution is aimed at companies developing chatbots, personal assistants, and other AI applications that understand language with unprecedented levels of subtlety and nuance.
- The introduction of 65 new and updated software development kits — including libraries, code samples, and guides — that bring improved features and capabilities to data scientists, researchers, students, and developers. The additions include next-gen SDKs for accelerating quantum computing, last-mile delivery algorithms, and graph neural network mining.
- The introduction of NVIDIA Omniverse Avatar, a technology platform for generating interactive AI avatars. Omniverse Avatar connects the company’s technologies in speech AI, computer vision, natural language understanding, recommendation engines, and simulation technologies. Avatars created in the platform are interactive characters with ray-traced 3D graphics that can see, speak, converse on a wide range of subjects, and understand naturally spoken intent.
- The global expansion of its NVIDIA LaunchPad program, which is growing from its initial availability in North America to operations in nine locations around the world. Available directly from NVIDIA, LaunchPad provides immediate access to optimized software running on accelerated infrastructure to help customers prototype and test data science and AI workloads with a set of curated labs.
- The introduction of NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, a small, powerful, and energy-efficient AI supercomputer for robotics, autonomous machines, medical devices, and other forms of embedded computing at the edge. The new Jetson computer accelerates the full NVIDIA AI software stack, allowing developers to deploy the largest, most complex models needed to solve edge AI and robotics challenges in natural language understanding, 3D perception, multisensor fusion, and more.
UiPath announced its latest platform features that enable customers to further their automation journeys. The innovations include:
- UiPath Integration Service: Users have access to API and UI integration along with the flexibility to use UI and API in any combination within a single automation.
- Powering the Mission-Critical Role of Automation in the Enterprise: With the Endpoint Protection Integration with CrowdStrike, UiPath offers endpoint security for RPA.
- Accelerating Development and Use of Automation: For developers, the release includes packages, components, and intelligent “assists” that accelerate building while standardizing and improving automation quality and makes it easier to incorporate AI into their automations.
- Cloud-Native Automation: Automation Suite takes the best of UiPath Automation Cloud SaaS experience and optimizes it for delivery on-premises, in public cloud, or from hosting partners.
ScaleOut Software announced major extensions to the ScaleOut Digital Twin Streaming Service that integrates its Azure-based in-memory computing platform with Microsoft’s Azure Digital Twins cloud service. The new ScaleOut Azure Digital Twins Integration is a set of extensions to the ScaleOut Digital Twin Streaming Service, which adds a real-time component to Azure digital twin models. With this integration, ScaleOut Software’s real-time components can perform low-latency message ingestion and processing with immediate access to their corresponding Azure digital twin’s properties instead of requiring Azure serverless functions to perform these functions.

Lucata announced it has launched the Lucata Pathfinder server and a customized version of GraphBLAS for the Lucata platform. The Lucata server leverages patented Migrating Thread technology that moves compute threads to the data rather than data to the processor. This results in orders-of-magnitude less network traffic and 10x to 60x higher processor utilization rates. The server thus allows users to run faster analytics on larger graphs than is possible with conventional computing technologies.
ZeroShotBot announced the launch of a new conversational AI technology that democratizes chatbots for businesses big and small. ZeroShotBot brings a new way of building chatbots that can be scalable within hours and requires no training data, allowing anyone with zero coding experience and training to create a fully functionable chatbot.
DDN announced the latest addition to its A3I solutions, the AI400X2, which delivers twice the performance of the previous generation appliance in the same footprint. Additional performance and usability enhancements introduced with the AI400X2 include Hot Node integration and a streamlined intelligent user interface to accelerate and simplify enterprise IT operations.
IBM announced new natural language processing (NLP) enhancements planned for IBM Watson Discovery. These planned updates are designed for use in industries such as financial services, insurance, and legal services to enhance customer care and accelerate business processes by uncovering insights and synthesizing information from complex documents.
TigerGraph has expanded its data science library with 20 new algorithms, bringing its total to more than 50 algorithms. In particular, TigerGraph’s Graph Data Science Library v1.0 contains several improvements and additions, including embedding algorithms for graph ML. Thelibrary continues to be open-source, on GitHub.
Google announced the release of ClusterFuzzLite, a continuous fuzzing solution that runs as part of CI/CD workflows to find vulnerabilities faster than ever before. With just a few lines of code, GitHub users can integrate ClusterFuzzLite into their workflow and fuzz pull requests to catch bugs before they are committed, enhancing the overall security of the software supply chain.
Conversica announced new Conversational Account-Based Marketing (ABM) capabilities available through its AI Assistants. The solution combines the value of personalized human dialog with the prompt, persistent, and consistent engagement of Conversational AI, enabling sales and marketing teams to execute at scale with increased engagement, accelerated deal cycles, and better customer experience.
Instaclustr announced that the Shotover proxy project is now available as fully open-source software. Shotover is a high-performance L7 data-layer proxy for controlling, managing, and modifying the flow of database requests in transit. The open-source community and others interested can find the latest release of Shotover from GitHub.
Real-time analytics news in brief:
Red Hat announced the general availability of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.5, the latest version of the enterprise Linux platform. The updated platform extends Red Hat Insights services, adding new capabilities around vulnerability, compliance, and remediation, helping organizations more effectively manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments across multicloud and hybrid cloud environments.
The AlmaLinux OS Foundation, the nonprofit that stewards the community-owned and governed open source CentOS alternative, announced the delivery of AlmaLinux 8.5. The release has full feature parity with RHEL’s newest release, including improvements that make it easier for DevOps teams to manage containerized workloads, as well as updated programming languages and security and compliance tools.
Run:AI announced dynamic scheduling support for customers using the NVIDIA Multi-Instance GPU (MIG) technology, which is available on NVIDIA A100 Tensor Core GPUs as well as other NVIDIA Ampere architecture GPUs. Run:AI now enables the creation and management of MIG instances on the fly, which is particularly useful for smaller inference and light training workloads that don’t require an entire GPU.
Aerospike Inc. and AWS unveiled a new advertising technology (Ad Tech) industry solution. Aerospike for Ad Tech on AWS enables customers to accelerate deployments using an AWS Quick Start guide, reference architectures, customer examples, prescriptive benchmarks, and cloud managed services for Ad Tech companies running Aerospike on Amazon EC2 instances.
Vertica announced a new integration with NetApp StorageGRID to deliver the advantages of cloud-native analytics to on-premises environments. This combined analytics offering enables data-driven organizations to elastically scale capacity and performance as data volumes grow and as analytics and machine learning become a strategic business driver – all from within their enterprise data centers.
Synthesis AI released HumanAPI, an expansion of the company’s synthetic data capabilities enabling the programmatic generation of millions of unique, high-quality 3D digital humans. HumanAPI is the next step in the company’s efforts to support advanced computer vision Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications.
Informatica announced the Cloud Data Marketplace, designed to intuitively increase data sharing, improve productivity, and enable organizations to make more informed decisions. The Cloud Data Marketplace empowers business users to shop for both data and AI models, ensuring that business users spend less time looking for data and more time making better decisions with trusted data.
Mindtech Global released a new application pack for companies developing Smart City solutions. Mindtech’s Chameleon platform is specifically designed to create synthetic training data to help computers see, understand, and predict human-to-human and human-to-world interactions – essential for next-generation Smart City applications.
Allstacks has released a live dashboard with industry benchmark data from software engineering teams for free on its website. The data, which is anonymized from its customer population data, include five key benchmarks to help understand what progress looks like. Any company can access this real-time, actionable data to enable continuous improvement goals by comparing the progress of its own software teams.
Dynatrace announced its platform now includes security gates, enabling DevSecOps teams to automatically assess each new software release to ensure only secure code moves through the delivery pipeline. With this enhancement, users can leverage Dynatrace’s intelligence, along with observability data, to automatically detect, assess, and manage vulnerabilities in real time and with greater accuracy than traditional security tests that operate on static code.
Noogata announced its location analytics library. Building on the success of its existing eCommerce library, the location analytics library applies the power of Noogata’s no code AI data analytics platform to physical locations for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands.
Veracode has launched an advanced scanning tool to find and fix vulnerabilities in APIs. The new capability leverages Veracode’s Dynamic Analysis (DAST) scanning engine to provide comprehensive security insights and remediation guidance for APIs as early and efficiently as possible.
Quali announced that it has completed the System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II Audit examination for its Torque infrastructure automation platform. The audit and examination of Quali’s Torque platform was conducted in accordance with standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Era Software announced the general availability of EraCloud, a software as a service (SaaS)-based offering that includes the EraSearch observability and analytics platform optimized for real-time, low-cost log management. In addition, EraCloud features administrative functions that help organizations move from logs to insights in seconds without operational complexity.

Domino Data Lab announced a fully managed offering from solution partner Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) that leverages the Domino platform to run high-performance computing and data science workloads on NVIDIA DGX systems, all in the TCS Enterprise Cloud.
Variscite announced its partnership with Hailo to launch a ready-to-use reference platform for scalable AI capabilities at the edge. The joint, complete edge AI solution will combine Variscite’s i.MX 8 platforms with Hailo’s Mini PCIe AI module to run full-scale deep learning (DL)-based applications efficiently and sustainably while lowering their costs.
Ahana announced it has achieved Amazon Web Services Data & Analytics ISV Competency status. Achieving this status differentiates Ahana as an AWS ISV Partner in the AWS Partner Network that possesses deep domain expertise in data analytics platforms based on the open-source Presto SQL distributed query engine, having developed solutions that leverage AWS services.
D2iQ announced today that it joined the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Software program, empowering NVIDIA customers to quickly deploy artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) models in Day 2 production environments with the D2iQ Kubernetes Platform (DKP).
Qlik deepened its strategic partnership with Google Cloud with the debut of Qlik Data Integration on Google Cloud Marketplace. Google Cloud customers can now seamlessly and easily purchase Qlik Data Integration to help drive more use and value from all their data.
Kongsberg Digital and MathWorks will join the Open AI Energy Initiative (OAI), an ecosystem of AI-based solutions for the energy and process industries. The OAI was launched by C3 AI, Shell, Baker Hughes, and Microsoft in February 2021.
AtScale announced that it has achieved the Amazon Redshift Ready designation, part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Service Ready Program. Achieving the Amazon Redshift Ready designation differentiates AtScale as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member with a fully supported product integrating with Amazon Redshift.
Rockset announced the availability of Rockset’s Real-Time Analytics Database in AWS Marketplace. Now, customers have real-time analytics capabilities on AWS, enabling them to make the move from batch to real-time analytics.
Inspur Information announced that its AI and Edge inference servers will support NVIDIA A100, A30, and the newly announced A2 Tensor Core GPUs throughout its entire inference server portfolio.
DDN announced that it has joined with NVIDIA to establish an AI Innovation Lab in Singapore. The lab will provide customers and partners with the infrastructure and tools to build AI-led solutions at scale.
Anodot announced the acquisition of Pileus, a cloud cost management platform, for an undisclosed amount. The combined offering, powered by machine learning, will enable businesses to proactively manage and forecast their cloud costs.
Rafay Systems announced it has completed the System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II Audit. The certification demonstrates Rafay’s commitment to the most rigorous security standards for its own operations and handling of customer data.
LeanIX announced that its Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) is now listed on SAP Store, the online marketplace for SAP and partner offerings. Integrated via an interface with SAP Signavio Process Manager, LeanIX’s EAM provides comprehensive data on applications, interfaces, and user groups.
